How does it work?
Attached to the club used to hit is a wooden nugget 20 cm. long, the golf ball is larger than in traditional golf and is made of leather. The distance between holes varies with us from 200 to 300 meters. We currently have 10 holes. You play farm golf with us on 8 acres of grassland. The course is played in groups. The goal is to complete the course as a group in as few strokes as possible.
The game lasts approximately 1 to 2 hours. Before, between or after, you can join us for a drink and cake of the day in our cozy building the Meadow View.
You can also enjoy a delicious buffet from butcher van der Bijl.
Hammerslag has excellent sanitary facilities. Parking will not be a problem as there are ample (free) parking facilities.
What does it cost?
Farmer’s golf: €6.00 p.p. (includes use of poles)
It is wise to bring boots, possibly you can rent boots from us for €1,00 p.p.
During farmer’s golf you can also “fierljeppen”. Of course it is not advisable to jump into the ditch, but should this happen, Hammerslag has showers available. Especially for groups we have compiled some nice arrangements, click on the buffet arrangement block.
You can come and play farmer golf with us throughout the year. It is wise to call in advance and make a reservation.
With us you will experience the power of rural tranquility, you can continue with us until you are “exhausted”.
