We have a beautiful visitor center, called the Meadow View, with a unique panoramic view of the green meadows of the Hammeren area.
You can clearly see that we are on the border of the forest area and the clay area. With the binoculars (which you can use from us) you can explore the wide area. In clear weather you can see the “ears”, the satellite station of Burum. And in the distance you can also see the church towers of Kollum. Furthermore, you can see the lock of Dokkumer Nieuwe Zijlen and of course the sight of the village Westergeest. Each window has a unique photo moment.
Wheelchair-friendly...
De Weide Blik is wheelchair friendly and is suitable for groups (also large groups). Here you can start with the activities and possibly after that you can enjoy the various buffets we can organize in cooperation with Slagerij van der Bijl. Sanitary facilities are also sufficiently present. Everything is clean and tidy, as is our open kitchen.
